International Graduate Programs
◆◆◆International Graduate Degree Program in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science◆◆◆
The program covers the general topics in electrical engineering and computer science.It is designed to meet the new challenges that electrical and computer specialists face in the age of modern electronics, communication, control, electro-optics, and computer/information technology (IT).Special courses are also designed to offer international students hands-on experiences in Taiwan’s electronics and IT industries through NCTU-HSIP Consortium, where HSIP ( Hsinchu Science-based Industrial Park) is the so-called Silicon Valley of Taiwan.

Courses in the following areas will be offered: Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Control Engineering, Communication Engineering, Electro-optical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Engineering, Computer and Information Science, SoC(System-on-Chip), Multimedia, Digital Content, Intelligent System, MEMS, and Bio-Nanotechnology, etc.

Applicants are expected to have completed courses corresponding to a three to four years Bachelor degree majoring in electrical engineering and/or computer science including basic courses in mathematics(calculus, algebra, engineering mathematics).High proficiency in English, e.g. by a TOEFL test (220minimum).

In response to the trend of globalization and for the purpose of enhancing the research and teaching on Taiwanese culture, Graduate Program of Taiwanese Studies is offered by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS).
